The programme we are asked for most.

The Casino-Style Room

Three tables, trained hosts, symbolic chips. Our main programme. Three tables with their own host-croupiers, scenography, a staffed photo point, DJ and sound, and a coordinator on site for the whole evening.

Dancefloor

Nights built around sound and colour. The room is lit as one object, the music is programmed in blocks, and the decoration tells your guests within ten seconds what kind of evening this is.

Puzzle Room

Programmes where your people do the work and the crew keeps score. Teams of four to eight, written rules, a visible scoreboard and a finish that everyone can follow without a briefing.

Curtain Call

Evenings with something to watch. A performer works the room in short sets, the scenography carries the story, and the programme alternates between watching and doing so nobody sits still for five hours.

Open Ground

Programmes for grounds, marquees and large halls. Several activity points run at once, guests move between them at their own pace, and the whole thing works with an adult group of up to 100.

Choosing

Four facts narrow this list to three options.

  • The occasion

An anniversary with speeches points at Black Tie. A team day with something to prove points at Puzzle Room. A thank-you in February points at Open Ground.

  • The group

Up to 40 guests opens the written formats: the case, the mystery dinner, the escape stations. From 60 upwards, the table and dancefloor formats work better.

  • The venue you have

Ceiling height, floor area and power decide more than taste does. Tell us the venue and we will say which formats fit it before you choose one.

  • The length

Four hours suits one strong activity. Five hours suits an activity plus a speech window plus a floor. Longer than that and attention goes, whatever we put in the room.

Questions

Questions about choosing a format.

How do we choose between 24 formats?

Start with four facts: the occasion, how many adults are coming, what kind of venue you already have, and how long you want the programme to run. Those four narrow the catalogue to three or four candidates almost every time. Tell us those four things in an enquiry and we will come back with the shortlist rather than the whole list.

Can two formats run in one evening?

Often, yes. Casino-style tables plus a quiz, or an illusionist set plus a dancefloor, fit comfortably into five hours. Two formats that both need the whole room at the same time do not. We say which combinations work in your written quote instead of charging for both and hoping.

Who is responsible for what?

We are responsible for the programme, the crew, the equipment, the set-up and the pack-down, and for one coordinator being on site for the whole time. You are responsible for the venue and its conditions: floor area, furniture, power, access, bathrooms, any venue permissions, catering and drinks. Each format page lists the venue requirements in writing before you book anything.

Is every format for adults only?

Our programmes are written and run for adult guests, and participation in the casino-style activities is for guests aged 20 and over. We do not run programmes for children and we do not include minors in any activity.

Tell us the date and we will shortlist three.

Four facts in the form are enough: date, town, number of adults, the format you are drawn to.
