Our main programme
The Casino-Style Room
Our main programme: a room laid out as a themed games floor with three tables, hosts who teach the rules at the table, and scenography that turns an ordinary hall into the room your guests expected. The chips are props, they are not sold, not topped up and not exchanged for anything. What your company buys is the organisation of an evening, not a game.
What is in the package
- a roulette table 2.4 x 1.2 m, a blackjack table 1.8 m and a poker table 2.1 m, all with felt tops and rail lighting
- three host-croupiers in black tie for the full 5 hours, one per table, each explaining the rules in under two minutes
- a card and chip set per table: 6 decks, 300 symbolic chips without any denomination printed on them
- a floor host with two radio microphones who opens the evening and closes it
- scenography: a 3 x 2.4 m backdrop wall, 6 table-edge decorations, a 6 m runner, 12 table numbers
- 14 LED light points, 4 of them on the backdrop, dimmable from one desk
- a photo point with a 2.4 x 2.4 m frame, 18 dressing props and one crew member looking after it
- DJ and sound: a 2 x 1000 W system for up to 100 guests, 2 speakers on stands, a wired music programme agreed with you in advance
- one coordinator on site from set-up to pack-down, your single point of contact
- a printed run sheet for your venue and your own staff
What the venue needs to have
- a hall of at least 180 m2 for 100 guests, ceiling from 2.8 m
- three 16 A circuits on at least two separate fuses
- a loading door reachable by a 3.5 t van, ground floor or a goods lift from 1.2 x 1.6 m
- tables and chairs for seated guests from the venue; the game tables are ours
Adaptable without changing the price: Which of the three tables opens first, the music programme, the colour of the backdrop lighting, the length of the speech window and the position of the photo point.
Masquerade Ball
A masked evening with Venetian-carnival decoration. Every guest chooses a mask at the door, the room is lit low and warm, and the middle of the programme is a mask parade judged by applause rather than by a panel.
What is in the package
- 100 masks in four styles, laid out on a 3 m dressing table
- scenography: 6 drapes 4 m high, 2 candelabra-style stands, 30 battery candles, a 3 x 2.4 m backdrop
- a host-compere for 4 hours who runs the parade block
- a baroque and modern-crossover music programme, DJ, 2 x 1000 W sound
- 12 warm LED points and 4 narrow beams on the drapes
- a photo point 2.4 x 2.4 m with a mirror frame and 10 props
What the venue needs to have
- a hall of at least 150 m2, ceiling from 3 m for the drapes
- two 16 A circuits
- a venue policy that allows free-standing drape supports
- low ambient light or the ability to dim the house lighting
Adaptable without changing the price: Mask styles, the music balance, whether the parade is announced or spontaneous, the number of drapes.
Company Gala
For anniversaries, annual results and award evenings. A seated room, a proper stage, a host who keeps to the minute, and a technical crew that makes a 12-slide presentation look deliberate rather than improvised.

- a 75 inch screen or a 3 x 2 m projection, plus a confidence monitor for the speaker
- a host-compere for 5 hours and one AV technician at the desk
- 4 radio microphones, a 2 x 1000 W sound system, playback of your own material
- 18 LED light points, 4 of them on the stage wall, one follow light on the lectern
- an awards block: a 2.4 m presentation table, a plinth and up to 20 printed certificates
- a red runner 8 m long and a staffed welcome point at the door
- a photo point 2.4 x 2.4 m with 12 props and a frame in your own colours

Special Agent Briefing
A dinner-jacket evening in the special-agent manner, built for a smaller group. It opens with a briefing, runs through four field tasks around the room, and ends at two casino-style tables where the hosts explain the rules and the chips stay props from the first minute to the last.
What is in the package

- 200 symbolic chips with no denomination, used for scoring only
- a host-compere in character for 4 hours
- 10 LED points, 2 haze effects if the venue permits, a spy-score music programme
- a photo point with 12 props and a 2.4 m backdrop
What the venue needs to have
- a hall of at least 140 m2 for 80 guests
- a corridor or side area of at least 6 m for the laser task
- two 16 A circuits
- a smoke or haze policy agreed with the venue in writing
Adaptable without changing the price: Which four tasks run, how hard the scoring is, whether the two tables open at the start or after the tasks, the dress code wording on your invitation.

A 1920s room in the Great Gatsby manner: geometric decoration, feathers and brass, a swing and electro-swing programme, and a dressing table where guests pick up the part they want to play for the evening.

How these evenings run
The shape of a Black Tie programme.
A host runs the structure and the crew runs the activities. Whichever format you choose from this category, the four stages below are the same.
-
Guests arrive to a staffed welcome point, a seating plan on a board and a host who explains what happens in the next five hours.
-
The hosts open each activity in turn, explain it in two minutes and stay at the table for the whole programme.
-
A quieter half hour is held back for speeches, an award or a company announcement.
-
The last hour belongs to the floor: music, photographs, a closing word from the host.
Venue
What a venue needs for this category.
Individual formats add their own requirements, listed with each one above. These four apply across Black Tie.
- a hall of at least 160 m2 for 100 guests, ceiling from 2.8 m
- two 16 A circuits on separate fuses within 15 m of the stage wall
- a loading door reachable by a 3.5 t van, ground floor or goods lift
- tables and chairs from the venue, plus one 1.8 m table per activity point
Set-up takes up to 3 hours before the event, pack-down 1-2 hours after. Neither counts towards the programme hours.
Read this before anything else
What the chips are, and what they are not.
Our casino-style programmes are entertainment held in a room, run by hosts who teach the rules. They are not gambling, and we would rather be boringly clear about it than let anyone assume otherwise.
-
Chips are props
No denomination is printed on them. They are not sold, they cannot be bought or topped up during the evening, and they are never exchanged for money, goods, vouchers or valuable prizes.
-
No stakes, no winnings
Nobody puts money or belongings on the table and nothing of value is won. The result of an activity gives a guest no financial benefit, so the programme is not gambling within the meaning of the Gambling Act 2003 and needs no gambling licence.
-
On site, adults only, offline
Everything happens in a venue you choose, in front of the people who are there. Participation in casino-style activities is for guests aged 20+. There is no online casino, no app and no play over the internet of any kind.
Questions
Questions about Black Tie.
Is a dress code compulsory?
It is yours to set, not ours. We tell your guests what the room will look like and most dress up on their own. The formats in this category all include a props or dressing point at the door for anyone who arrives straight from work.
How does the speech window work?
Every Black Tie run sheet has a 20 to 30 minute window with the music down and the lighting up, placed after the first activity block. You tell us who is speaking and for how long; the host keeps to it.
What are the chips and tokens for?
Scoring and atmosphere, nothing else. Chips carry no denomination, are not sold, cannot be topped up and are never exchanged for money, goods, vouchers or valuable prizes. Participation in casino-style activities is for guests aged 20 and over.
Ask about a date in Black Tie.
An enquiry does not reserve a date. We check whether we are free, agree the package and send it to you in writing.
