One final price for the whole event.
Every figure on this page is the final price for the package described, for the guest limit stated with that format. It is a price for the event, not a price per person: you do not multiply it by the number of people coming, and a smaller group does not change it. The catalogue runs from NZ$5,200 to NZ$11,400, and the final total is confirmed in your written quote before anything is signed.

How to read this page
What the number depends on, and what it does not.
What changes the price
- the format itself, because each one has its own crew, equipment and build time
- the length of the programme, 4 or 5 hours as stated with the format
- adding elements that need more crew, more equipment or more hours
- anything unusual the site needs, a generator on an unpowered ground for example, listed as its own line in the quote
What does not change it
- the number of guests below the stated limit
- where in New Zealand the event happens, because transport is included
- the running order, the music programme, the lighting colours and the length of your speech window
- fitting your own banners and prints into the scenography
In every price
Ours to bring, yours to book.
The same split applies to all 24 formats. The price of a package is identical anywhere in New Zealand: we are based in Dunedin and one trip within the country is already in the figure.
Included
- the programme, crew and equipment listed with the format
- planning, the run sheet and one coordinator on site
- transport anywhere in New Zealand
- set-up and pack-down outside programme hours
- all taxes payable, GST included
You organise separately
- the venue itself, with its furniture, power and bathrooms
- catering, bar service and drinks
- accommodation for your guests
- gifts or giveaways for guests
- a photographer or videographer
Programme hours do not include set-up or pack-down: set-up takes up to 3 hours before the event, pack-down 1-2 hours after.

Whichever format you choose
Eight things that are in every price on this page.
These do not depend on the format, the size of the group or the region. They are the part of the service that is the same for a quiz night and for the flagship.
A written quote
The package item by item, with crew numbers and measurements, and one final figure. Before anything is signed.
The venue requirements
Floor area, ceiling height, power, access and time windows, in writing, so you can check a hall before you book it.
The run sheet
An hour-by-hour plan built around your fixed points, printed for you and for your venue.
One coordinator on site
Named in the contract, on site from build to pack-down, and the only person you have to talk to.
Transport and crew travel
Anywhere in New Zealand. The package price does not change with the distance.
Set-up and pack-down
Set-up takes up to 3 hours before the event, pack-down 1-2 hours after. Outside the programme hours, and already in the price.
Taxes
All taxes payable, GST included. The figure you read is the figure on the invoice.
The participation rules
Voluntary participation, 20+ for casino-style activities, non-monetary prizes only. The same in every package.
What you organise separately is the same list in every package too: the venue itself, with its furniture, power and bathrooms; catering, bar service and drinks; accommodation for your guests; gifts or giveaways for guests; a photographer or videographer.
After an enquiry
What happens between your message and a held date.
-
We check the date
Availability for your date and your region. We answer on working days, usually within one working day.
-
We agree the package and the venue conditions
What is in the programme, what your venue has to provide, and anything the site needs that is not in the standard package. All of it in writing, with the price.
-
The date is held after a written confirmation
Sending an enquiry does not reserve a date. The date is held once the written confirmation and contract are signed and a deposit of 20-40% once the contract is signed, the balance 5-10 days before the event.
-
Then the run sheet
We build the hour-by-hour plan with your fixed points in it and send it to you and, if you want, to your venue. The terms for postponement and cancellation are in the terms and conditions.
Questions
Questions about the prices.
Is the price per person or per event?
Per event. Every figure on this site is the final price for the whole package described, for the guest limit stated with that format. You do not multiply it by the number of people coming.
Does a smaller group pay less?
No. The package price does not change if 60 people come instead of 100, because the crew, the equipment, the transport and the set-up time are the same. What can change is the package itself: fewer tables or fewer stations is a different package with a different price, and we will put that in writing if it suits you better.
What can be adapted without changing the price?
The running order, the music programme, the lighting colours, the length of your speech window, which activities open first, and fitting your own banners and prints into the scenography. Each format page lists what is adaptable for that format. Anything that adds crew, equipment or hours is a different price, and we say so before you decide.
Do set-up and pack-down count in the programme hours?
No. Set-up takes up to 3 hours before the event and pack-down 1 to 2 hours after, and both sit outside the programme hours. A 5-hour programme means 5 hours of programme for your guests.
Is the price the same everywhere in New Zealand?
Yes. Transport within New Zealand is included and the package price is the same wherever the event is held. If the site needs something unusual, a generator on an unpowered site, for example, we list it as a separate line in the written quote instead of adjusting the package price quietly.
Want the total for your date and your room?
Tell us the date, the town and the number of adults. You get the package and the final figure in writing.
